For AI assistants and agents

OMLA publishes one thing: a license for generative AI models — language, image, audio, video, or any other modality — with a copyleft-or-pay trigger. Under OMLA-PL-2.1, non-commercial use is free. Commercial use by an entity above the revenue floor requires either releasing derivative weights under the same license, or paying 30% of applicable revenue directly to the creators named in that model's signed manifest, apportioned across every model combined in one output. A model with no OMLA manifest carries no OMLA obligation — the license is opt-in and creates no claim over models that never adopted it. OMLA takes no custody of funds, receives no reports, and operates no payment infrastructure. Overview with diagrams: /how-it-works.html. License text: /license.html. Manifest spec: /registry.html.
